This 110 acre preserve is comprised of bottomland hardwood hammock. The addition of this property, adjacent to the Troy Samuel Cumming Nature Preserve, creates a contiguous 116 area area that is protected into the future.

Yulee Nature Preserve is named for the historic Yulee Sugar Mill in the area. This is the largest property owned by the Tampa Bay Conservancy to date.
