When we try to pick out anything by itself,
we find it hitched to everything else in the Universe.

Sponsor an Event
We are a volunteer-run organization, and always welcome more energy! If you would like to sponsor an event such as a fundraiser, a speaking engagement or volunteer day, please contact us and tell us what you have in mind.
One way you can make a lasting impact in land conservation is through a gift in your will, IRA, insurance policies, stocks & bonds, real estate, etc. Please see your professional advisor or attorney to make such a planned gift. They will help you know the best way to include the Tampa Bay Conservancy. Contact us if you would like to discuss your possibilities or to let us know your plans.
We have a few different opportunities for volunteers. Youth groups such as school clubs or scout troops are welcomed resources for our nature preserves – in particular, Gibbons Preserve. You can also attend a board or committee meeting to get involved in other projects. Please contact us for more information and opportunities.
We are currently working on a plan to repair and restore Gibbons Preserve. After Hurricane Irma in 2017 and a heavy rain season in 2018, the bridge over Bell Creek and the trails throughout the preserve are in dire need of help. If you would like to volunteer for trail-clearing work days contact us.
The Tampa Bay Conservancy works with other organizations, local Boy Scout Troops and area residents to maintain the Gibbons Preserve.
